Important News!

After 39 years of dedicated ownership, Robert Zimpel has decided to retire from the apple retail business.  Family-owned Sunrise Orchards recently acquired Hillcrest Orchard in 2024 and it will now be known as Sunrise Orchards at Hillcrest. It’s located about five miles east of Sunrise Orchards at the intersection of highways 61 and 171.

Our goal is to maintain the friendly atmosphere and excellent service Hillcrest is known for while adding a touch of Sunrise's distinctive flavor. This will include their famous apple cider donuts, complimentary cider and other tastings, and a wide variety of apples. They will also continue to offer potatoes, onions, mums, pumpkins, and other beloved items that Hillcrest has had over the years.
